So this is how I roll- pick tomatoes when they are orange on the bush, place them in a dark room and keep collecting for the week. Once i have enough, I wash them and then cut them up to put through the mincer passata maker. Boil on the stove till it goes down by a 3rd. Then wash and sterilise the jars, place in the oven till hot.
Hot tomato puree goes into hot jars and boom, you have home grown Passata
